How to Elevate a Cow

About John Gladden John Gladden was born in 1966 and grew up in Ohio’s Morrow County. He studied English and journalism at Malone College in Canton, where he met his wife, Melanie. They live in an 1832 farm house in Westfield Township in Medina County, with their children Matthew and Emily and a reliable, rusty-gray tractor named Old Fergie.

His columns and feature stories have won awards from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Society of Newspaper Columnists. More importantly, his maple syrup once earned the blue ribbon for three years running at the Medina County Fair.
