Journalist Dick Feagler — a fixture in Cleveland newspapers and television — died Sunday at the age of 79, according to multiple sources.
Feagler, a graduate of John Adams High School and Ohio University, worked for the Cleveland Press, Plain Dealer and Cleveland Magazine. His column, which he wrote first for the Press and then the Plain Dealer, was syndicated by the Scripps-Howard News Service and at one point could be found in multiple newspapers, including the Chronicle-Telegram.
Feagler also appeared on WKYC and WEWS and hosted a show, “Feagler and Friends,” on WVIZ.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
