Robert "Bobby" H. Sohl, of Medina, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 after a very strong battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, his battle was difficult but Bobby remained strong and would not give up. He was born November 17, 1951 to John and Mary Ellen (Stephenson) Sohl.
Bobby will be fondly remembered by all that knew him as someone who had a unique ability to improve the lives of every person he encountered. He worked 27 years at Permold Corporation, until they closed in 2000, then he went on to work for Amcor American Metal Chem Corporation for 15 years.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janice Sohl; children, Tammy (Chris) Collins, Jim Senz, Tim Senz; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Mary Ellen Hine Stevenson; sisters, Cathy McGaughey and Linda Knepple; brothers, Gary Sohl and Scott Hine; his special friend, Ellen Judy; Ellen's sons, Bret Judy, Clayton Judy; many nieces and nephews, as well as his close friend, Jeff; and Patty, his friend from Amcor.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Sohl and stepfather, Edward Hine.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 P.M., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A funeral service will follow at 5 P.M., in the funeral home.
