D. Gayle (Bollmann) & Dale A. Butler
Happy 50th anniversary, Gayle and Dale Butler! The Rev. Mark Collier joined D. Gayle (Bollmann) and Dale A. Butler in marriage on Sept. 14, 1968, at Westlake United Methodist Church.
Gayle is a graduate of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati and Bowling Green State University. She worked as a dental assistant and office manager for Dr. Dale L. Race for 38 years. She loves jigsaw puzzles and word games and has become a political activist and writer of letters to the editor in recent years.
Dale is a graduate of North Olmsted High School and Bowling Green State University (bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in education). He taught social studies at Keystone Junior High, followed by Nord Middle School and Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst and spent a number of years coaching junior high football and basketball. He is an avid reader and golfer and is deep into genealogy.
The couple loves traveling and hopes to do a lot more of it. They have two daughters, Raechel (Tony) Brooks and Molly (Michael) Stuart, and three grandsons, Ben, Nate and Elliott.
A large open house hosted by their daughters was held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Raechel’s home.
