Robert L. Klooz

It is with mixed emotions and sincere gratitude for his service that the retirement of Robert L. Klooz from Klooz Septic Service in April is announced. Klooz Septic Service was started by Clarence W. Klooz in 1958.

He was a Medina police officer, yet he founded Klooz Septic Service in his spare time away from the force. It began as Clarence lent a hand to an excavator friend, and the need for pumping tanks to assist the excavator grew. As the years went by, it went from a part-time hauling company to full time when Robert took over the business in 1978. He has worked diligently over the years and procured not only a lucrative and reputable business but a host of loyal customers that he will miss seeing.

Although he will stay busy doing things around the house, he is looking forward to lots of rest and relaxation with his wife Royale and a host of animals he cares for, and spending lots of time with his family in Florida, cracking them up with his “jokes.”

Best wishes and many thanks to Robert for 40 years in the business!
