With the general election right around the corner and early voting set to begin Wednesday, the Medina County Board of Elections wants to remind residents to register to vote before the deadline if they wish to cast a ballot.

Today is the last day to fill out voter registration and address or name change forms, all of which have to be received 30 days before the general election. Registration can be completed at www.medinacountyelections.org/how-do-i-register-to-vote.

During the weeks that early voting is going on, the elections’ office will be open an extra half an hour, with hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

During the week of Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to make it easier for residents to vote.

Information about what will be on the ballot and where to go to vote on Nov. 6 can be found at www.medinacountyelections.org.

Anyone who is unsure if they are currently registered to vote, can find voting information on the board of elections website.
