Medina’s Office of Economic Development announced it is publishing an “e-newsletter” Fridays with news about economic development.
The messages will include a report on city road construction updates entitled “Barrels and Cones.”
To receive the e-newsletter, viewers should go to www.medinaoh.org and click the box in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage screen that says “Sign up for Our Newsletter and Construction Updates.”
Registrants’ emails will be added to the list.
If you previously have signed up for the newsletter, officials said your name remains on a list, but it is requested that people sign up again if their email address has changed.
Business owners are being asked to share this service with employees and vendors.
“We hope that this e-newsletter will help to keep everyone apprised of city economic development activities and our many construction projects,” Economic Development Director Kimberly Marshall said in a statement.
She continued: “We are heading into a very busy time, and we want everyone who lives, works, or travels through the city to have current and accurate information.
“Our staff meets regularly with (the Ohio Department of Transportation), and we are working with the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce to assist the businesses in the construction areas to weather these projects. We know that road construction can be inconvenient for everyone; however, it’s extremely critical that we do everything we can to support our businesses.”
