Hinckley Township

- A resident of the 800 block of Pine Grove Circle reported at 6:48 p.m. Sunday a white Chevrolet Cavalier with Michigan plates was parked on his lawn. The car was towed.

- Officers met with an employee of Time Warner Cable on Morning Star Drive at 10:30 a.m. June 19. The employee said he was responding to a service call for an outage in the area and he noticed someone used a key to enter a cable box on the street and cut out an amplifier wire worth $1,200.

- An employee of Hinckley Hills Golf Course, 200 State Road, reported at 6:29 a.m. June 18 several golf carts were driven on the course the previous night. Two of the carts were driven into a lake, partially submerging them.

Lodi

- The police chief’s badge was found in a storage area in the 600 block of Wooster Street Wednesday. The owner of the property called the chief to report he had found the badge, one of the chief’s four.

Chief Stephen Sivard said he did not realize it was missing, but he last had placed it in a raincoat hanging in the police department’s lobby.

- Vinetta Hendershot, 45, of 207 River St., Apt. 2B, was charged with theft after she allegedly took various items from Dollar General, 316 Bank St., at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

- A Lodi man reported Friday that Time Warner Cable in Wadsworth told him he owed the company $300 for service to a residence in the 300 block of Medina Street in 2003. The man, however, said he never lived at the residence and never ordered the cable.

Medina Township

- A woman was observed on a security camera allegedly stealing a top and bottle of perfume, totaling $67, while at Kohl’s, 4095 Pearl Road, at 5:35 p.m. Monday.

Brandy Gilliam, 19, of 3775 Mayflower Oval, Brunswick, was stopped by store security until police arrived. She was cited for theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

- Lube Stop, 4215 Pearl Road, was broken into between 7 p.m. June 18 and 7:25 a.m. June 19. It was ransacked and $5 was stolen.

- Seven hole marker flags totaling $35 were stolen between 7 p.m. June 19 and 7:40 a.m. June 20 at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, 3830 Hamilton Road.
