Lodi - Guests at a residence in the 100 block of River Street reported around 12:45 a.m. Monday a man punched a male guest in the face and hit a female guest in the stomach. The suspect, a Lodi resident, was found around 6 a.m. driving an all-terrain vehicle down a creek. At 7:12 a.m., a resident of the 400 block of Medina Street reported his ATV was stolen from the bed of his truck sometime since midnight. The man said he did not give anyone permission to take the ATV. The man driving the ATV in the creek said the owner let him borrow it. Assault and theft charges are pending against the man who reportedly assaulted the partygoers and took the vehicle.
- Guests at a party in the 100 block of River Street reported at 11:43 p.m. Sunday a man came to the house and asked if the owner was home. The guests said he was not and the man then ran in the house to look around. He was pulled out by one of the guests and the man ran off.
- A resident of the 100 block of Redfield Street reported his 1985 Honda dirt bike was stolen between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday.
- A resident of the 300 block of Church Street reported somebody had driven through the lawn on a four-wheeler multiple times and also dug two holes on the side of the property between May 31 and Saturday.
- A resident of the 100 block of River Street reported the right tail light of his Chevy Trailblazer was scratched between midnight and 6:45 a.m. Saturday.
- At 1:12 p.m. June 1, Patrick Renzo, 41, of 137 N. Vine St., purchased two gallons of gas at Miller Bros., 711 Wooster St. He reportedly said he could not pay for the gas, but said he would leave his cell phone and come back later to pick it up and pay for the gas. Renzo never returned to the store and the cell phone was not a functioning one. Renzo was charged with theft.
Medina Township - A padlock on the exterior storage area at Tractor Supply Co., 3768 Pearl Road, was cut between 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday and a lawn tractor and go-cart valued at $4,205 were stolen.
- Two girls were seen by security at Kohl’s, 4095 Pearl Road, reportedly removing clothing from racks between 1:15 and 2:19 p.m. June 4, and concealing the clothing, valued at $106, and leaving the store without paying. Heather Hendrix, 18, of 1456 Clearbrooke Drive, Brunswick, and a 14-year-old girl, were detained by security and Hendrix was cited by police for theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. The 14-year-old will be charged through the juvenile court.
- A woman was seen by security reportedly removing various merchandise, valued at $226, from Kohl’s, 4095 Pearl Road, between 7 and 7:45 p.m. June 6. The woman, Shannon Hoy, 35, of 227½ Homestead Drive, allegedly left Kohl’s without paying for the merchandise and went to Wal-Mart, where she was detained by security for another reported theft. Police cited her for theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.
