MEDINA HYDRANT FLUSHINGS — The city of Medina Water Department will flush fire hydrants on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This week, affected streets will be Continental Drive, Dover Drive, Featherstone Drive, Lipke Court, Newell Lane, Oak Street south of Cedar Street to West Sturbridge Drive, Seeley Drive, Sovereign Lane, Stratton Drive, West Sturbridge Drive and Woodglen Circle. Discolored water may temporarily be present in homes and businesses. Flush cold water through a faucet until it runs clear. For information, call the water service office at 330-722-9081 during weekday business hours.
WADSWORTH HYDRANT FLUSHINGS — The Wadsworth Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants the week of June 2. Areas affected will include north of Broad Street to state Route 261, east to the city limits and west to High Street, south of Broad Street from First Street east to Silvercreek Road, and the areas of Whippoorwill Lane, Songbird Path, Sparrow Way, portions of Johnson Road, Ohio Avenue, Fairview Avenue, East Street and Park Street. The water in these areas may become discolored during the flushing. It will be safe to drink, but is not recommended for washing clothes. The water should be clear by the next day.
