MEDINA — In a close race for president of Medina City Council, Cindy Fuller edged out incumbent Pam Miller by 70 votes. Ward 1 Councilman John Wetzel came in third.
Out of 4,553 votes cast, Fuller had 2,014; Miller, 1,944; and Wetzel, 595, according to unofficial results from the Medina County Board of Elections.

Library’s slim win is a page-turner

BRUNSWICK — A hush came over Brunswick Library where about 20 employees and supporters of the Medina County District Library were waiting for election results.

Brunswick income tax increase trounced

BRUNSWICK — City voters overwhelmingly defeated the proposed issue that would have increased income taxes from 1.35 to 2.15 percent.
Unofficial results from the Medina County Board of Elections show 1,146 voters were in favor of the increase and 5,510 were against it.
