21-year-old pleads not guilty to vehicular homicide charges

MEDINA — Robert W. Stankiewicz pleaded not guilty Tuesday to eight felony counts for his alleged role in a fatal accident involving 8-year-old Kathryn Curtis of Brunswick.
Stankiewicz, 21, of Hinckley Township, was indicted by a Medina County grand jury last month on aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault charges, second- and third-degree felonies.

No more horses: Convicted woman must forfeit animals

WADSWORTH — The Ashland woman convicted on 20 counts of animal cruelty against horses she owned on her Harrisville Township property was sentenced Tuesday to 60 days in jail and must forfeit any animals she owns.
