Harry A. Smith, 70, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Medina.

He was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Painesville. Mr. Smith worked as a loader for LTV Steel for 35 years. He loved life and laughed all the time. He was a Navy veteran.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Marjorie Kathy (nee Boyle) Smith of Brunswick; son, Michael T. Smith of Parma; grandchildren, Zach and Kelsey Smith; sisters, Cheryl Hutchings of Brunswick and Alison Botkol of Texas; and brother, Greg Gappa of Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Doloris (nee Gappa) Smith.

Service: 1 p.m. Thursday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road (state Route 303 at Interstate 71).

Burial: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Visiting hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
